More Than a Kickboxing Club
Red Rhino is as much a community and social project as it is a kickboxing club. For a lot of our members, kids, teenagers and adults alike, it’s somewhere they belong: a safe, supportive place with people looking out for them.
Kids with additional needs
Many of the children in our classes have additional needs. Here they’re welcomed, understood and treated as part of the team, and we adapt how we coach so every child can take part at their own level.
Mental health
Training helps people manage stress, anxiety and low mood, and gives a sense of achievement every time you learn something new or move up a grade.
A family club
Parents, children and whole families train with us. Our classes are open to everyone, whatever their background, ability or fitness level.
Teen mentors
Teenagers give up their own time to help with the younger kids’ classes. They become mentors, then coaches, and the younger kids get role models to look up to.
Standing up to bullying
We give young people somewhere positive to go, teach respect and discipline, and help kids who have been bullied build their confidence.
Making friends
Classes help members make friends, work as a team, listen and communicate, which matters most for children who find social situations hard.
Parents regularly tell us about the difference they see in their children, at home and in school. See our kids kickboxing classes.
